I’m Cheri LaMay, a garden designer
trading as Earthworks1. I offer a Client
driven and site sensitive design service
based on ten years experience in
professional horticulture, including a
year at the Royal Horticultural
Society's Harlow Carr Botanical Gardens
in Harrogate. I have designed many
gardens, from small urban to large
country, public squares to business
premises. I work with dependable
landscape contractors who will deliver
within budget and on time. |

My speciality is good communication with
a Client, and designing a garden that
suits them completely. I always hit the
nail on the head! It's fun to crisscross
boundaries so many styles are used:
contemporary, cottage gardens, big
leaves...I am passionate about our local
Yorkshire landscape, and will anchor
your garden here by use of local stone,
forms, and colors. The common thread
through all my gardens is space for
wildlife: through the use of water,
